Spend $10 and Take Your Shot at WSOP Gold
On June 28th at 6 p.m. PDT, PokerUpdate.com will host an online satellite at WSOP.com NV that pays a seat into the online bracelet event. The cost for this satellite is just $10.
What can $10 buy you in Vegas? It can get you the following:
- A value meal at McDonalds
- Cheap Beer
- Matinee movie showing
- 3 gallons of gas
- $5 foot long at Subway
- 1 hand of blackjack
- 7 hands of max-bet .25 video poker
As you can see, you can’t get much in Vegas for $10. However, with $10 you can take a shot at a bracelet and maybe even a six-figure payday.
Details on the Event
The PokerUpdate.com satellite for Event #64 is a freezeout event, meaning no re-buy, add-on or reentry. Think of it as the equivalent of a WSOP mega satellite but at 1/10th the cost.
Each player will start with 2,500 in chips and levels last 10 minutes. This gives you plenty of play and should allow the skillful players a chance to build a stack. The winner of the event will receive a $1,000 tournament ticket for Event #64 that can be redeemed the day of the event.
